Sendai opens with win as J-League resumes

Jiro Kamata scored a late winner Saturday to lift Vegalta Sendai to a 2-1 win over Kawasaki Frontale as the J-League resumed following a break forced by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan.
