The earrings Kate Middleton wore to her wedding were designed and made by Robinson Pelham. The earrings were commissioned by Miss Middleton's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, and were given to their daughter as a wedding present.
The earrings are diamond set stylized oak leaves with a pear shaped diamond set drop and a pave set diamond acorn suspended in the center. Inspiration for the design comes from the family's new coat of arms which includes acorns and oak leaves. The earrings were made to echo the tiara.
