Kate Middleton was given a new Coat of Arms in advance to her upcoming wedding to Prince William. Kate's Coat of Arms is made up of three acorns because Mr. and Mrs. Middelton havae three children and the area they grew up in (West Berkshire) is surround by oak trees. The gold chevron, which sits at the center of the Coat of Arms, represents Mrs. Middleton, whose maiden name is Goldsmith. The two thinner chevrons, which sit either side of the gold chevron, allude to hills and mountains and represent outdoor activities that the family enjoy together. Blue and red represent the flag of the United Kingdom.
Kate's Coat of Arms will be combined with Prince Williams' Coat of Arms after they are married. Take a look:
