It's Bunny Season...

As an owner of a rescued rabbit, I urge anyone thinking about adopting a rabbit this Easter holiday because they think "it's cute" to please think twice. A domesticated rabbit can live up to 10 years - my Grimmy just turned five last month, and trust me when I say, he's not slowing down one bit. ;) Standard rabbit hutches or cages aren't enough room for them to really live in full time, either. A rabbit does much better in a large living environment. You can almost think of bunnies as cats with a slightly different attitude - they can be litter trained (ours is) and function well running loose in your home just like a cat (beware electric wires, however).
